A digital health platform that needed to feel trustworthy enough for medical data — and human enough that people actually use it every day.
The Challenge
Health apps have a credibility problem. The clinical ones feel cold and hard to use. The friendly ones don't feel serious enough for real medical data. Salos needed to live in the space between — a platform that patients trust with their health information and actually want to open every morning.
The Approach
The brand was built around approachability without sacrificing authority. The identity uses a fluid, connected "S" mark — a form that suggests movement, continuity, and care. The color system pairs deep purple with mint and sky blue: calm and clinical without being sterile. Character illustrations bring warmth to what could easily feel like a cold data product.
The product design covers the full ecosystem — mobile app, Apple Watch companion, and health dashboard. Each surface was designed around a single principle: show the right information at the right moment, nothing more. Health data is complex; the interface shouldn't be. Typography is clear and legible at every size. Icon language is consistent and instantly recognizable across the platform.
The Result
A complete health platform identity and product design — from brand mark to wearable UI. A system that scales from a glanceable Watch complication to a full dashboard with charts, vitals, and appointment history.
